Repeat options

The Repeat list offers: Never, Daily, Every 2 days, Weekly, Monthly, Yearly, Cycle and Days of the week. When you add a new medication, it also offers As needed for medications with no set times (see As-needed medications).

On the web, the same choices are called Every other day and Cycle (days on / off).

Good to know

  • Days of the week follows the care recipient's time zone.
  • Several doses a day are set under Date & time with Add another dose time, not under Repeat.
  • Leave the end date blank to keep the medication going until you stop it.
  • A schedule that started on a day can't drop that day later. To remove it, stop the medication and add it again with the new days.
  • There is no "every 3 days" or other custom interval yet. Cycle covers most on-and-off patterns.

Not for meals or routines

Meals, walks and other routines work better as a repeating task. See Reminders for meals and daily routines.
