Steps

  1. Open “Care”, then “Meds”, and tap “History”. On the web, open “Medications” and choose “History”.
  2. On the adherence card at the top, tap “Export report”.
  3. Choose a period: “Last 7 days”, “Last 14 days”, “Last 30 days”, “Last 60 days”, “Last 90 days” or “All time”.
  4. Wait while it says “Generating PDF...”, then choose where to save or send the PDF. On the web, the report opens in your browser's print window, where you can print it or save it as a PDF.

The report is a PDF for a doctor, a pharmacist or the rest of the family. It covers every scheduled dose in the period, up to yesterday. Today isn't counted yet, because some of today's doses may still be ahead.

What it counts

Each scheduled dose is one of:

  • Taken: marked as taken within 30 minutes of its time.
  • Taken late: marked as taken 30 minutes or more after its time.
  • Skipped: someone marked it as skipped.
  • Not marked: no one confirmed it in the app. It may or may not have been taken.

The adherence rate is the doses taken (on time or late) out of the doses scheduled. The report shows:

  • Summary: the rate, the counts above and whether the second half of the period went better or worse than the first.
  • By medication: the dosage, taken, not marked, skipped and rate for each medication.
  • By day: one square per day (the last 30 days of the period) and a list of the days with a skipped or unmarked dose.
  • Time of day: the same counts for each dose time.

As-needed medications are listed in their own section (doses given and by whom) and don't count toward the rate. A medication that was stopped counts only the doses that were due before it was stopped.

Vitals summary

A report made on the web also includes a summary of the vitals recorded in the same period, if there are any: for each type, the latest reading, the average, the lowest and the highest. Reports made in the phone app don't include vitals yet. To look at readings, see Track blood pressure, heart rate, glucose and weight.

Notes and limits

  • It needs a Premium circle: the circle owner's plan. In a free circle, the owner sees the upgrade options when tapping Export report, and other members see that the owner needs Premium. See What is free and what Premium adds.
  • The adherence card and its Export report button appear once the circle has had scheduled doses in the last 30 days.
  • “All time” starts from the first dose anyone marked in the circle.
  • Anyone in the circle can make the report, including members with view-only access.
  • The PDF shows the care recipient's name, date of birth and medication history. Share it only with people who should see it.
  • For a one-page summary of conditions, allergies, medications and doctors, use the care summary instead. See Keep emergency info and share a care summary. For a full copy of everything, see Export your circle's data.
