The free plan has no time limit and includes 1 care circle with you plus 1 caregiver, and unlimited medications and reminders. Premium adds up to 5 circles, unlimited caregivers, more document storage and the care assistant.

What is free and what Premium adds
Step 1 of 5: The free plan. The free plan has no time limit. It includes 1 care circle you own. A second circle needs Premium.
Step 2 of 5: What Premium adds. Up to 5 care circles. Unlimited caregivers in each circle. 1GB of documents and photos per circle. The care assistant. Adherence reports and calendar import. Adding by voice, on supported phones.
Step 3 of 5: Who pays. Only the circle owner pays. Everyone in that circle gets Premium there. Prices vary by country; you see yours before you buy.
Step 4 of 5: Free: you plus 1 caregiver. Open the circle. You plus 1 caregiver: the free limit. Another caregiver needs Premium. The care recipient does not count.
Step 5 of 5: Your plan in Profile. Go back to your list of circles. Tap the person icon to open Profile. Upgrade to Premium is at the top. The weekly care summary email is Premium.

Free plan
- 1 care circle that you own
- You plus 1 caregiver in that circle (the care recipient does not count)
- Unlimited medications and reminders. Reminders are never behind a paywall.
- Calendar, appointments, tasks, notes, vitals, emergency info and the activity history
- 200MB of documents and photos per circle
Premium
- Up to 5 care circles that you own
- Unlimited caregivers in each circle
- 1GB of documents and photos per circle
- The care assistant ("Assistant" in the app)
- Care shifts, to plan who is on call (see Plan who is on care shifts)
- Managers, caregivers you choose to help invite and remove people (see Owners, caregivers, care recipients and view-only)
- Adherence reports and importing appointments from your calendar
- Adding by voice, in the phone app on supported phones
- The weekly care summary email
Who pays
Only the circle owner pays. Premium applies to the circles that person owns, so everyone in those circles gets the Premium features there. Joining someone else's circle is always free.
Price and free trial
Prices are set in the App Store and Google Play and vary by country. The app shows your price before you buy. The yearly plan can include a 7-day free trial if your store account is eligible. In the phone app, tap Upgrade to Premium at the top of Profile. You can also upgrade on the web at my.circlecare.app under "Profile".
If Premium ends
Nothing is deleted.
- On a circle with more caregivers than the free plan allows, the caregiver who joined first keeps editing and the others become view-only.
- Managers go back to being caregivers. If you subscribe again, you choose managers again.
- Existing shifts stay visible but become read-only.
- If you own more than one circle, the app asks you to choose one to keep with free access ("Choose circle"). The others become read-only for everyone until you subscribe again. You can make this choice only once.
- When you subscribe again, everything goes back to normal.
