Delete your account

Open "Profile", tap "Delete account" and confirm. This permanently deletes your account and every care circle you own. It cannot be undone.

Steps

  1. If you have Premium, cancel your subscription first in the App Store, Google Play or your web Profile. Deleting your account does not cancel it.
  2. Optional: tap "Download my data" in Profile to keep a copy of your information.
  3. Open "Profile" and scroll to "Account".
  4. Tap "Delete account".
  5. Read the message and tap "Delete my account" to confirm.

What gets deleted

  • Your account and your sign-in.
  • Every circle you own, with all its medications, appointments, tasks, notes, vitals, documents and emergency info. Everyone else in those circles loses access and is notified.
  • Invitations you sent that were not accepted yet.

What stays

Circles that someone else owns are not deleted. You are removed from them. What you added there, such as notes, activity, documents and photos, stays in the circle, but your name is removed from it.

If you cannot open the app

Use the account deletion page. Enter your account email and we send you a verification code. The code works for 15 minutes. Enter it to confirm the deletion.

Before you delete

  • If you want the circle to continue for your family, talk to them first. Ownership cannot be handed to someone else.
  • To leave just one circle instead of deleting your account, open that circle and tap "Leave circle".
  • On a computer, you can also delete your account from "Profile" at my.circlecare.app with "Delete my account".
  • Some data may stay in backups for up to 30 days before it is gone. See our privacy policy.
