Join a circle you were invited to

Open the invite link from your email and follow the steps to create a free account. You will join the circle straight away. Joining someone else's circle is always free.

Join a circle you were invited to

Step 1 of 7: Find the invitation email. Look for an email from CircleCare. Not there? Check spam or promotions.

Step 2 of 7: Tap the link in the email. Tap Open your invitation. No app? It opens in your web browser. With the app, CircleCare opens.

Step 3 of 7: Enter your invite code. Your code is already filled in. Type the email the invite was sent to. Tap Continue.

Step 4 of 7: Check who invited you. Sarah invited Tom as a family caregiver. Tap Continue to create account.

Step 5 of 7: Create your account. Tick the box to agree to the terms. Type your first and last name. Create a password and type it again. Tap Create account and join. You have joined the circle. Tap OK. Tom now helps care for Margaret.

Step 6 of 7: Already have an account? Tap Sign in at the bottom of the invite screen. You join the circle as soon as you sign in.

Step 7 of 7: If the app shows Create circle. You do not need your own circle. Only have the code? Tap Have an invite code? Or tap Review invitation on the banner. Tap Accept. Tap Accept again to join. You are in the circle.

Steps

  1. Find the invitation email from CircleCare. Check your spam or promotions folder if you do not see it.
  2. Tap the link in the email. If CircleCare is on your phone, the app opens. If not, the invitation opens in your web browser.
  3. In the app, the "Enter your invite code" screen opens with your code filled in. Type the email address the invite was sent to and tap "Continue".
  4. Check who invited you, then tap "Continue to create account" in the app, or "Create an account to join" in the browser.
  5. Create your account. In the app, tap "Create account and join".
  6. If you already have an account, choose "Sign in" (or "I already have an account" in the browser). You join the circle as soon as you sign in.

If you only have the code

The invitation email also includes a 6-character code. Open the app and tap "Have an invite code?", then "Enter code". Type the email address the invite was sent to and the code. On a computer at my.circlecare.app, choose "Join with an invite code".

If the app asks you to create a circle

After you sign up, the app may show the "Create circle" screen. If someone invited you, you do not need your own circle.

  • Look for the banner "You have 1 pending invitation" at the top and tap "Review invitation", then "Accept".
  • Or tap "Have an invite code?" at the bottom of the screen and type your code.

If you already made a circle by mistake

Your invitation still works. On your list of circles, tap the pending invite card ("Tap to review and join circles") and accept it. On a computer, go to "Your invitations".

Then you can delete the extra circle: open it, go to "Manage" and tap "Delete circle". A deleted circle does not count toward your free circle, so you can still start your own circle later.

If the invite does not work

  • Invitations last 7 days. If yours has expired, ask the person who invited you to tap "Resend" or send a new invite.
  • To join from the list of pending invitations, sign in with the email address the invite was sent to. If you use a different email (for example "Hide My Email" with Apple), use the invite link or the code instead.

Good to know

  • Being invited never costs anything, on the free plan or on Premium. Only the circle owner can pay for Premium.
  • You can belong to several circles, for example your mom's circle and your dad's circle.
