Find older notes

The Notes list opens on the last two weeks. Tap “Show older notes” at the bottom to go back further, as far as your notes go. There is no search for notes yet.

Find older notes

Step 1 of 4: Open your notes. Tap Care. Tap Notes. Notes opens on the last two weeks.

Step 2 of 4: Scroll back in time. Scroll down. Earlier days load as you go.

Step 3 of 4: Show older notes. Scroll to the bottom. Tap Show older notes. Older months appear in the list.

Step 4 of 4: Keep a copy of everything. Go back to your list of circles. Tap the person icon to open Profile. Download my data saves a copy. Circle owners get every note in the file.

Steps

  1. Open “Care”, then “Notes”.
  2. Scroll to the bottom of the list. On a phone, scrolling loads earlier days up to about three months back. Tap “Show older notes” to keep going back.
  3. Keep tapping “Show older notes” until it says “No older notes”.

There is no search for notes yet, but you can reach every note by going back through the list.

How the list loads

  • The Notes list opens on the last two weeks.
  • On a phone, scrolling down loads earlier days, two weeks at a time, up to about three months back. On the web, tap Show older notes to do the same.
  • Past that, each tap on Show older notes loads about three more months. There is no limit on how far back you can go.
  • When there is nothing older, the list says No older notes.

Your notes are never deleted when they get old. Every note stays stored with its date, author and text.

Need a copy of everything?

Use the data export. It is a file with your circle's records, including notes of every age.

  • If you own the circle, the export includes every daily note and every visit or task note in it.
  • If you are a member (not the owner), the export includes only the notes you wrote. Ask the circle owner to run it if you need everyone's notes.

Before you update

This describes CircleCare 1.3.0. On earlier versions the list stops at about three months and the older notes are only in the data export.
