Several third-party sources that track US pricing converge on $4.99 a month as the current figure, and that is the number we are confident enough to use here.

The US App Store listing, checked on September 23, 2026, shows Medisafe Premium at $4.99 per month and $39.99 per year as the main price points, with lower and higher variants also listed ($2.99 and $9.99 monthly, $27.99 and $29.95 yearly) that appear to depend on region or promotion. Medisafe's own pricing and FAQ pages returned no content when we checked them directly, so the App Store listing is the only first-hand source we could verify. Search-engine copies of Medisafe's own FAQ describe Premium as adding new theme colors, unlimited Medfriends, unlimited measurements, unlimited family members and priority support, which is the clearest first-party description of where the free plan stops; those FAQ pages now redirect to a homepage that describes the app as free.

Medisafe's free tier is widely reported to cap free accounts at a small number of medications, a claim that traces back to comparison sites rather than to Medisafe's own pricing pages, which we could not reach. We are not printing a specific number we can't verify at the source.
